The Linker’s gal Tuesday was (ahem!) de-linq-uent yesterday, shirking her duties to link up with fans of the Big Blue juggernaut as they showered the G-Men with shredded spreadsheets in New York’s Canyon of Heroes. Past honorees included the aviatrix Amelia Earhart (twice), Jesse Owens (the black sprinter who ruined the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin for Adolph Hitler), President Harry S. Truman (for the A-bombs that ended WWII), the Apollo 11 astronauts who landed on the moon, and of course, those Amazin’ Mets of 1969! In this decade, in fact, only three parades have so far been held: one for the New York Yankees baseball championship, and now two for New York Giants Super Bowl victories! Congratulations, men! Well played! Now, here are some links that are most definitely worthy of parading around.
