TeamQuest Corporation enhances configurability and efficiency for VMware data collectors with its latest software release. Also new with this release are performance analysis and capacity planning capabilities for IBM POWER7 environments. These are just two of many new improvements included in Release 10.3 PF20110301.

“Maintenance releases like this are an important part of the value we deliver to our customers,” said Director of Product Management, Scott Adams. “Forty-five features contained in this release were specifically requested by our customers to help them in their day-to-day efforts to manage IT performance and capacity.”

A healthy IT infrastructure helps the business succeed. Lost transactions, a sluggish corporate website, or a failure to get reports to the business are just a few of the mishaps that can occur without proper capacity management tools such as those offered by TeamQuest.

A few of the improvements in this release include:
• Predictive capacity modeling for IBM POWER7 environments
• Combined analysis of CPU utilization across different operating systems
• Increased configurability for VMware data collection
• Enhanced efficiency of VMware data collectors
• Speedier display of IT services

Release 10.3 PF20110301 also provides support for these updated platforms:
• VMware vSphere 4.1
• IBM POWER7
• IBM VIOS 2.1 & 2.2
• IBM AIX 7
• IBM DB2 9.7
• Oracle WebLogic 11g
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6
• SAP Netweaver 7.1
