TIBCO Software Inc., a global leader in infrastructure and business intelligence software, today announced the availability of TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 6.2 from the AADI Summit. ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 6.2 is the latest version of TIBCO’s industry-leading integration platform designed to streamline every aspect of integration projects. ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks is now even easier to use, enabling users to accelerate development with new SaaS plugins that can be downloaded directly from the Integrated Development Environment (IDE), including plugins for Salesforce.com, Marketo, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Quality and automation of projects are improved, thanks to the availability of testing and continuous integration plugins, and deployments are easier with the ability to deploy to the Amazon Cloud directly from within the IDE.

“By expanding connectivity and cloud deployment, TIBCO is enabling its users to quickly turn data into a market advantage by reducing time to implement and adapt to company environments. TIBCO is focused on constantly improving the ease of use and robustness of its Fast Data solutions,” said Thomas Been, vice president, product marketing, TIBCO. “ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 6.2 provides the ideal integration foundation for modern architectures, including microservices, to support key digital initiatives, such as Open APIs or the Internet of Things.”

Key ease-of-use features introduced in TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 6.2:

  • First-Class Web API Tooling: ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks provides first-class tooling to build and integrate Web APIs through REST and JSON support. With a few clicks, you can build Web APIs that are fully documented and testable.
  • Agile Development: ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks offers out-of-the-box support for Apache Maven continuous build, Jenkins test automation, and remote debugging and deployment that give developers extreme agility and continuous delivery. As a developer, you can build apps faster and in a more agile way, responding to changes quickly.
  • Zero-Code Development: ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks developers save time and money with graphical modeling tools in native Eclipse. The drag-drop tools eliminate having to write code. Visual modeling and mapping capabilities let you express complex transformation in data without writing a single line of code or XSLT.
  • Open Ecosystem: TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in Development Kit is a tool that speeds up the development of new plug-ins for ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks. This lets developers quickly create custom connections to any custom application that doesn’t publish a standard API. Once built, the kit allows the user to package, install and document the plug-ins so they can be reused and shared with other developers — improving developer productivity and freeing their resources to build innovative solutions.
