Elliptical Mobile Solutions (EMS) today announced it will launch its Micro-Modular Data Centers in Israel together with Channel Partner Computech International (CTI) and communications integrator NETCOM.
The companies will jointly showcase EMS’s R.A.S.E.R. at “Data Center 2011”, Israel’s leading information technology conference and exhibition January 20th at the Avenue Conference Center in Airport City, Israel. EMS Co-founder and Chief Technology Evangelist Simon Rohrich will be a guest speaker, discussing the topic of Micro-Modular Data Centers.
EMS is the only company in the world delivering rack-level Micro-Modular Data Centers (MMDCs) with integrated closed loop cooling, high-level security and internal fire suppression.
“As more and more data is being created from both traditional and new electronic media sources, the need for safe storage and reliable access, as EMS provides, is paramount,” says Eyal Shachi, CEO of Computech International. “EMS products, coupled with our data storage, server and back-up solutions, address the real needs of our government and corporate customers.”
MMDCs fully replicate the capabilities of a traditional or containerized data center while offering significant capital, operational and energy savings. Features include:
— Industry standard 19″ racks that can house the world’s most high-tech network, server and storage equipment
— Rapid deployment — within weeks rather than months or years — greatly accelerates data center infrastructure implementations
— Perfectly scalable, allowing companies to add capacity on an “as needed” basis without disrupting operating data centers.
— Flexibility to interchange storage and network architectures with minimal impact on existing operations insures greater uptime and availability.
As a result, MMDCs offer up to 80 percent savings in capital costs; 60 percent savings in operational costs; 50 percent savings in cooling and power costs and 75 percent floor space savings.
“Computech is dedicated to understanding its customers and their markets,” says Don Kennedy, Senior Vice President of International Sales for EMS. “We are pleased that they have been able to embrace our technology as an innovative data center alternative and look forward to launching our products with them throughout Israel.”
