From the minds of Segment.io, Metalsmith is an extremely simple, pluggable static site generator. All the logic is handled by plug-ins, chained together by a core library that’s just an abstraction for manipulating a file directory. Metalsmith’s command-line interface can read simple JavaScript APIs and JSON files.
