CloudBees Inc., the Enterprise Jenkins Company and continuous delivery leader, today announced that the ClinkerHQ development team, led by co-founders Antonio Muniz and Manuel Recena, will join CloudBees, bringing additional Jenkins and software engineering expertise to the company. The announcement is the latest move to accelerate the company’s growth to meet demand for Jenkins-based continuous delivery (CD) and DevOps solutions.
ClinkerHQ’s seven-member team, based in Seville, Spain, has been a leader in continuous delivery practices and software engineering projects based on open source technologies. Adding the ClinkerHQ team’s expertise and experience will help CloudBees accelerate development of its Jenkins-based products. Jenkins is widely recognized as the world’s most popular continuous integration and continuous delivery software.
“To serve the growing requirements of our customers and meet the needs of organizations investing in continuous delivery, CloudBees needs to extend its talent base and development resources,” said Sacha Labourey, CEO and founder of CloudBees. “ClinkerHQ’s experience in product development and consulting on Jenkins and CD-related projects will bring a unique combination of deep industry experience to the CloudBees product management and engineering teams.”
ClinkerHQ has built a software development ecosystem featuring virtual appliance and cloud solutions that offer customers high-availability, security, control and scalability features. ClinkerHQ customers will be given the option of moving to the CloudBees Jenkins Platform or staying on ClinkerHQ until the end of their contract.
ClinkerHQ co-founders Antonio Muniz and Manuel Recena commented on joining CloudBees:
“We are excited to join such a highly respected organization as CloudBees and contribute to the industry-leading work being done in the continuous delivery area with Jenkins,” Muniz said.
