CloudShare is streamlining development and other preproduction work with its new cloud platform for individuals and small and medium businesses (SMB), CloudShare ProPlus. Designed to enable rapid development and testing, migration, training, demos and proofs of concept, CloudShare brings fully functional, hands-on copies of complex software, such as Microsoft SharePoint, SAP ERP and BusinessObjects, to the cloud, on-demand and in minutes.
“CloudShare brings the greatest benefits of the cloud – performance, speed, elasticity and economics – together with a simple-to-use workflow layer and robust functionality,” said Zvi Guterman, CEO of CloudShare. “Developers can build and collaborate on new applications in SharePoint 2010 labs via the Web in just a few steps, before supporting hardware and software ever arrives at the user site.”
CloudShare will demo the benefits of its award-winning platform for SharePoint developers, solution integrators and corporate IT this week at Booth 903 at The SharePoint Technology Conference (SPTechCon), the largest independent SharePoint conference in the world. CloudShare offers instant, on-demand virtual machines featuring preinstalled operating systems and applications in a “drag and drop” cloud environment designed for ease of use. CloudShare eliminates the need to configure new servers from scratch, install machines or rewrite applications.
“CloudShare removes the time and complexity of setting up SharePoint training and demonstration labs,” said Chris Beckett of SharePoint Bits, a Microsoft Certified SharePoint Master, and a presenter at this week’s SPTechCon. “CloudShare grants real-time access in the cloud to multi-server SharePoint environments on-demand, enabling me to quickly and easily build, test and deploy my solutions.”
With CloudShare ProPlus, SharePoint developers can instantly build and manage multiple copies of complex, virtual software environments and instantly share dedicated copies with peers and customers. Its no-headache model means unlimited use for a flat, all-inclusive monthly fee of $49 per month. CloudShare ProPlus includes up to six virtual machines, editable RAM and disk space and a suite of fully-licensed, preinstalled operating systems and applications including SharePoint 2010, Linux, Win Server 2003-2008, Windows XP and Windows 7, Oracle 11g and others. Storage, networking, bandwidth and CPU usage are included.
