#1: Ngxtop
This project from the mind of Vietnamese developer Binh Le provides real-time metrics for the nginx server. Ngxtop parses the nginx access log and outputs useful metrics to gauge what’s happening with the server in real time.
#2: Tweaks
Facebook has bestowed this iOS app fine-tuner upon us, which can easily adjust parameters in development. Tweaks removes the hassle from app adjustments by enabling the changes on only the developer or engineer’s device as they adjust parameters such as animation timings, velocity thresholds, colors, and physics constants.
#3: Popcorn Time was featured in last week’s Top 5 trending projects.
#4: 2048 was first featured in the Top 5 two weeks ago, but the addictive Sudoku clone has dug its claws too deep into the Internet to give up a spot on the list.
#5: <x-gif>
GIFs are one of the Internet’s favorite pastimes, and now the World Wide Web has “the GIF tag the Internet deserves.” <x-gif> is a Web component for flexible GIF playback. The custom element, created by Glen Maddern, can speed GIFs up, slow them down, play them in reverse, and sync them to audio. Let the new and improved GIFfing commence.
