A U.K.-based startup called Point8020 has released ShowMe for SharePoint 2.0, an on-demand video training library and context-sensitive help system delivered within SharePoint.

ShowMe for SharePoint’s training is designed to increase end-user adoption and to increase productivity by delivering content from practically anywhere within SharePoint, including from the Site Actions menu, the SharePoint Ribbon, or SharePoint Search.

There are more than 100 videos and transcripts that end users can navigate intuitively, the company said.

The software is delivered in three editions: A Site Collection Edition for organizations with few SharePoint 2010 sites costs US$1,485 for a single license, $4,455 for a single-farm volume license, or $8,901 for multiple farms. A Farm Edition costs $6,999 for a single license, or $9,090 for a volume license; and an Office 365 Edition license that costs $1 per user per month, or $10 per user per year. The company is offering free trials of each edition.
