We come to you this week live from SPTechCon, where about 950 of our closest friends have gathered to further their knowledge of SharePoint, or to display their tools that extend SharePoint’s capabilities, or simply to share what they know about the platform.

We’re excited to be working with Microsoft to host the launch of two free solutions for working with Project Server and SharePoint, as well as to host Microsoft’s Christian Finn, who will deliver the morning keynote tomorrow on “The Seven Habits of Highly Successful SharePoint Customers.” Finn will show how companies can create more value by thinking of SharePoint as a platform more than an application, and he’ll present some best practices along the way. He’ll be joined by Steve Conley of the Boston Red Sox, who will discuss how the Sox use SharePoint.

If you’re in the Boston area, there’s still time to come down to the Sheraton Boston Hotel an register for an “exhibits only” pass that will give you access to the keynotes and to the 50 or so companies displaying their SharePoint solutions in the exhibition hall.

We’ll be blogging on SPTechWeb throughout the conference, and you can follow the happenings via our Twitter feed (@sptechcon).

And next week’s newsletter will feature a wrap-up of new products and solutions announced at the conference.
