Metalogix, the leading provider of content infrastructure software to improve the use and performance of enterprise content on Microsoft SharePoint, Exchange and Cloud platforms, today announced the release of Metalogix Replicator 6.1, which is now the first product with the powerful ability to sync SharePoint content between SharePoint 2007, 2010 and 2013 deployments.
SharePoint has evolved into a mission-critical content management platform for organizations to share and collaborate on content around the world. Many organizations currently manage more than one version of SharePoint to support different office locations, departments, lines of business and extranets. Metalogix Replicator 6.1 gives these organizations a unique solution that keeps content in multiple SharePoint farms synchronized and up-to-date for all end users, regardless of location or SharePoint version. Synchronizing content delivers remote users the same speed and performance as at headquarters, even across poor networks. It allows organizations to share select content between departments or with customers and partners. By replicating content across multiple farms, Replicator prevents downtimes during power, system, or network failures and planned outages such as software or hardware refreshes.
“Many organizations have been unable to take advantage of the power of content synchronization due to the need to have identical hardware and software on all farms,” said Steven Murphy, CEO, Metalogix. “We developed this unique cross-version replication technology to give organizations a simple, reliable way to sync SharePoint content with the hardware and software they have already deployed. By replicating SharePoint content in real-time, Replicator will improve productivity and collaboration throughout an organization and provide end users fast, real-time access to content.”
The release of Metalogix Replicator 6.1 features several enhancements including Nintex Workflow 2013 support, which allows for the replication of Nintex Workflows between dispersed SharePoint environments. Additionally, the product has significant performance enhancements that reduce the time it takes to replicate content between large sites. The configuration for Replicator has been simplified with the ability to enable web apps directly from the user interface as well as a new quick start install guide for new customers.
Metalogix Replicator synchronizes content across multiple SharePoint farm locations, environments, and versions. The product has won multiple awards, including being named a Trend-Setting Product of the Year in 2012 by KMWorld Magazine. Get more information on the Metalogix Replicator product here.
