Want to know what actions are being taken by visitors to your SharePoint websites and portals? MAPILab’s Statistics for SharePoint 2010 (released in mid-October and available as a free upgrade for 2007 customers until Dec. 31) provides information on visitor activity, content and traffic, and document and list usage.
The software does not impact SharePoint’s performance, according to the company, and contains reports about actions with documents, including use, modification and popularity. The data can be sorted by document type, department, user or Active Directory/SharePoint group, according to the company.
MAPILab Statistics for SharePoint 2010 is designed specifically for use along with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 and SharePoint Foundation 2010. “On the basis of more than three years of experience in the field of development, and sale of a similar solution for SharePoint 2007, in our new solution—MAPILab Statistics for SharePoint 2010—we took into account the wishes of many customers and our rich experience in order to make the new solution as easy and comfortable as possible,” said Andrey Manchuk, MAPILab’s CEO.
“We managed to provide more functions while maintaining the full integration with SharePoint.”
