Last night, I had the privilege of speaking at the fledgling Long Island SharePoint User Group meeting/holiday party, and I’m here to tell ya, the passion for all things SharePoint hasn’t waned a bit. Why, the reception I received for my presentation on using resources and engaging the community could easily have given me a swelled head, but thankfully, I’m a firmly grounded realist about such things.
Nonetheless, it was fun to network and meet new folks, and—I’ll throw it out there—if any of you happen to be on Long Island and would wish to speak at one of the upcoming meetings next year, or have any resources that can be distributed, let me know and I’ll hook it up. (Hint: Come in summer, when the beaches are open and magnificent!) I believe Quest evangelist Chris McNulty is returning to his L.I. roots to speak in January, so that should be an interesting time.
