The SharePoint phenomenon is not exclusive to the United States. There are developers, IT administrators and business users around the world facing the same challenges of fitting SharePoint into their organizational processes and workflows that we here in America are tackling.

To help out our European brethren, there will be a live, online SharePoint Saturday EMEA on Jan. 23, with Joel Oleson of Quest Software (who needs no further introduction) offering up some opening remarks about the state of SharePoint and the 2010 release. But that’s not all. On Jan. 18, the two-day SharePoint Connections conference will debut in Amsterdam. Then in March, a conference will take place in Italy, followed by the SharePoint 2010 Evolution Conference in April in London, followed by the SharePoint Summit 2010 in Montreal. There’s plenty of material to learn, and plenty of exotic locations to learn it in.
