Infor Workspace, a new UI for enterprise applications built on SharePoint, was released late last week. The interface offers business intelligence and in-context collaboration in a common UI, which enables real-time decision-making, according to the company.
Fusing industry processes, analytics and enterprise applications, Infor Workspace provides a consumer-grade user experience with single sign-on, common look and feel, and seamless navigation across multiple applications deployed either on-premise or in the cloud. The tool allows applications to coexist and bring in outside information, including KPIs and dynamic alerts. Infor Workspace also offers mapping tools for supply-chain visibility into goods, inventories and networks, and provides currency and time conversion capabilities for global organizations, the company said in a statement announcing the new software.
