Amazon released its new developer portal today for the Amazon Appstore, designed to streamline the mobile app creation and submission process.
Amazon technical evangelist Mike Hines announced the launch in a blog post, detailing new portal features such as Android APK drag-and-drop. Developers can drop the APK file onto a section of the portal’s home page for immediate compatibility testing with Amazon Appstore for devices that run Android, such as the Kindle Fire.
