Jobs for those of you who can develop line-of-business applications, create and brand websites, organize information, and set up governance plans for SharePoint remain highly available. Proof is everywhere. Look at the jobs board at indeed.com or Technica for examples of the demand. A new twist is that employment recruiters such as ManTech are appearing at SharePoint Saturdays and other events, looking for SharePoint experts to fill positions.

Kodak’s Jeff Shuey reported seeing recruiters at a SharePoint Saturday in Los Angeles, and noted that they are popping up at events with greater frequency.

Now’s the time to assess your skills, see where you’re strong or in need of a little extra education, and look to make a change for the better.
