When wearing Google Glass, Explorers with a prescription will no longer have to worry about their glasses interfering. Rochester Optical, an eyewear manufacturer, is coming out with prescription lenses for the wearable.
The prescription lenses will be available in an array of styles and colors that clip onto Glass and cost as low as US$99, according to Slash Gear. The price will rise depending on whether the customer wants transitions, tinted lenses or additional options.
Preorders of the digital prescription lenses for Google Glass are expected to begin shortly after CES 2014, to be held on Jan. 7–10.
In the meantime, the company is conducting a short questionnaire to find out what users might be looking for in their Google Glass prescription lenses.
