Kovair, a supplier of application life-cycle management software, announced the availability of ALM Studio, a bundling of its tools for requirements management, test management and release management, as well as best practices resources.
The requirements management tool includes new resource management and “what if” analysis tools. Using resource management, the user can measure what can be done with the resources available. What-if analysis assesses what would happen to the budget and schedule if requirements are removed or added.
Bug and issue tracking is included with test management, as well as an integration tool where code can be written in any IDE, such as Eclipse or Virtual Studio, but will still provide access to ALM Studio’s requirements, test cases and defects. ALM Studio also integrates with configuration management and test automation tools.
Additionally, ALM Studio’s release management includes risk analysis and everyday project management tools.
Pricing for ALM Studio is US$1,895 per user for a perpetual on-premise license for a team of 10 users. SaaS is also offered as along with other pricing models.
