McCabe Software has released the latest version of their groundbreaking software security, quality, and testing analysis suite, McCabe IQ. This latest version (8.1) provides enhanced support for Android, as well as other non-GUI Java applications. McCabe has improved the ease-of-use, making McCabe IQ the solution of choice for Android code coverage.
In addition, McCabe IQ 8.1 provides increased support for integration with MSVS 2010, including ability to create IQ projects for C# and VB.NET applications.
McCabe IQ users will also benefit by using the new Publish Metrics ‘drill down’ into a module’s Annotated Source Listing (ASL). Line and branch coverage tabs now also contain helpful branch frequency counts and tested lines indicators. Users can generate Publish Metrics output from the GUI or command line interface (cli).
Other enhancements include new sorting options for walkthroughs of flowgraphs and source code, and flowgraphs and test plans, to view results based on analysis order.
McCabe IQ objectively analyzes software security vulnerability and quality through advanced static analysis and visualizes the architecture, highlighting the most complex and vulnerable areas of the code base. McCabe IQ also provides the most comprehensive code coverage, from LOC to Path-level, so you can focus, monitor, and document software testing processes, and gauge the time and resources needed to ensure a well-tested application.
McCabe IQ is available for most software development languages including Java/JSP, C++/C++.NET, C, C#, VB/VB.NET, Ada, COBOL, FORTRAN, and PL1, operating on any platform (Windows, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, etc.).
