Syncfusion, Inc., the developer solutions company of choice, today announced the release of Essential Studio 2014 Volume 4, the fourth major release of 2014. In addition to a number of valuable new features and updates for enterprise developers, a complete set of the company’s most popular controls has been added for Android and iOS development.
With the release of Volume 4, mobile developers will benefit from updates to popular Essential Studio controls such as TreeMap, Chart, DataGrid, RichTextBox, Diagram, and Maps. For Android and iOS development, 16 chart types ranging from line charts to financial charts, as well as new linear, digital, and circular gauges, are now available. A TreeMap control also provides a simple but effective way to arrange data in the form of clustered rectangles.
Another feature of Volume 4’s mobile development focus is the expansion of the Xamarin.Forms suite. New gauge and chart types have been added to this unique set of user interface elements, which can be configured in a uniform manner and easily deployed and rendered natively across multiple platforms.
“As a company, we strive to provide convenient, affordable solutions for developers. We pay particular attention to the needs of enterprise software development teams,” said Daniel Jebaraj, vice president of Syncfusion. “One need in particular that we recognized was the demand for a complete set of controls for Android and iOS development. Essential Studio 2014 Volume 4 is, by far, the largest mobile development product targeting enterprise mobile development on the market. Our new suite of controls and updates allows developers to take their work to the next level without having to reinvent the wheel on each platform.”
Other enhancements for Volume 4 include:
• New JavaScript controls and updates, including 10 new technical indicators in the Chart control.
• The official release of LightSwitch HTML.
• A predictive analytics framework that supports several types of predictive models.
• New features for the ASP.NET suite.
