Typemock, the leading provider and pioneer of easy unit testing solutions, announced the launch of a new competition for .Net, C++ and Agile user groups. The competition is part of Typemock’s on-going support for the developer community and will run through January ending on January 31st 2011.
The competition is based on a points system; user groups get 2 points for each member who downloads a free trial of a Typemock product and 10 points for posting a review or a story relating to their “Agile Path”. The group with the most points wins. The winning user group will receive a ‘New Year’s Agile Care Package’ including 12 months of group sponsorship, Typemock software license(s), the ‘Art of Unit Testing’ book, an Agile calendar, and exclusive T-shirts.
Although the competition ends on January 31st, Typemock continues to support international developers and user groups throughout the year. Typemock offers sponsorship of up to $200 for any user group who has at least one meet-up during 2011. The money can be put towards anything the group feels will strengthen the developer community.
“The purpose of the sponsorship is to give back to the global developer community that have supported us throughout the years, and to help advance agile development and unit testing”, commented Eli Lopian, Typemock’s founder and CEO. “We are looking forward to contributing to user groups from the US, Europe, Asia and helping them improve our profession.”
