MOSS 2003 or MOSS 2007? How about SharePoint 2010?

You’re a company that’s been using SharePoint for a few years, and you have it installed somewhere in the organization. Perhaps you’re using it primarily for document sharing and management, and some project management, and it suits you just fine. Your team understands it, likes using it, and it’s getting the job done.

Should you change, and incur costs in software, retraining and time lost from other efforts, for the promise of greater business gains proffered by the updated software?

These are the kinds of business decisions to be made any time a vendor updates his software.

What’s your thinking here? Stand pat, or make a move?
