Atlassian has announced the release of Connect for Bitbucket, a new solution that turns Bitbucket into a development platform. Bitbucket is the company’s source code-management and collaboration solution, and Connect for Bitbucket allows developers to build and embed add-ons right into the Bitbucket UI. Add-ons can be built in any programming language and can include integration with existing services, new features, or new product that run with the Atlassian app.
Add-ons currently available on Bitbucket include Cloud IDEs, code quality, code search, code analytics, deployment, crash and expectation handling, and rapid integration.

NLog 4.0 released
NLog, the open-source logging platform for .NET, Silverlight and Windows Phone, has released NLog 4.0. Version 4.0 of the log routing and management platform adds new features like zipped file archives, logging exceptions, conditional logging, auto load extensions, and writing to JSON. It also has incremental feature improvements and bug fixes.

Course Report’s annual Coding Bootcamp survey
Course Report has released its second annual market-size study on coding bootcamps, predicting that the market will grow by 2.4x (an estimated 16,056 graduates, compared to 6,740 in 2014).
Other findings included average tuition price being US$11,063, average program length being 11 weeks, and Ruby being one of the most common teaching languages.
