Bamboo Solutions has released KM Suite, designed to extend SharePoint’s capabilities for knowledge management in the enterprise.
KM Suite comprises Bamboo’s Knowledge Base application along with workflow and process automation that can run atop the SharePoint platform, according to a company announcement of the release.
With KM Suite, organizations can improved the quality of their content by automatically sending it to subject matter experts for review prior to the content being entered into the knowledge base. Tasks can also be created as part of a workflow to get experts to look at unanswered questions and issues. The suite also provides advanced search, support for custom taxonomies, and alerts for changes to content relevant to those receiving the alert, the company said.
