The “unofficial” start of summer—Memorial Day here in the United States—could not have come sooner for The Linker. A trip with Mrs. Linker and the little Links on a beautiful, sun-shiny day to the Vietnam War Memorial off Water Street in Lower Manhattan brought the meaning of the holiday we celebrate here home, as it probably does in countries around the world. The fact that brave young men put their lives on the line to protect our ways of life, and often pay the highest price with those lives, deserves recognition 365 days a year, and the best benefits we can offer them. Oh, and The Linkers ate hot dogs, too, as no Memorial Day holiday is complete without them. Here are some tasty links for you, dear readers, and we’ve held the mustard!
