As a non-Yankee fan living in New York, I dread the imminent demise of the New York Rangers from the NHL playoffs. With the Rangers in a 3-0 hole to the Brewins of Boston, and with the way the Mets are playing, non-pinstriped readers of the New York sports pages have a summer full of Yankee back pages to endure, beginning as soon as next week! Hopefully, the Jets will continue to do ridiculously stupid things (bring back Tebow!) and at least bump the Yanks off the back for a couple days. Only 24 days till Giants’ minicamp! Here are some links that can stand as a top story any day of the week!
