H3 Solutions, a leader in SharePoint mobility, today announced the release of Mobile Entrée 5.0, a mobile web app that makes access to the Microsoft collaboration platform more efficient and intuitive for users on the go.
The fifth major release of Mobile Entrée is specifically built for running on the SharePoint 2013 on-premise environment. Additional updates include a simplified interface of workflow tasks and easier navigation of the 2013 My Sites feature.
“Mobile Entrée 5.0 enables companies to offer a premium mobile experience to their employees, customers and partners without having to install an app on every device,” said Joe Herres, product executive vice president, H3 Solutions. “It also allows companies to leverage their investment in SharePoint 2013 by providing a rich API that enables users to build their own SharePoint mobility applications.”
Boys Town, a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for children and families, has deployed Mobile Entrée to optimize their hospital website, http://www.boystownhospital.org, for all major mobile devices.
“Other mobile applications were estimated to cost $15,000 for just iPhone functionality with more platforms coming at an additional cost,” said Paul Baker, Web Engineer, Boys Town. “We were able to deploy Mobile Entrée for a fraction of that cost, and the hospital went from having effectively no mobile presence to now offering a consistent and enjoyable mobile experience to all users no matter which device they use.”
