Workshare, a leading provider of document collaboration software and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, yesterday announced support for Microsoft Office 365 and other upgrades to Workshare Point, a solution that integrates Microsoft SharePoint with Microsoft Office.
The new version will allow users to connect to a SharePoint Online Server hosted by Microsoft, as part of the cloud-based Microsoft’s Office 365, delivering a seamless SharePoint user experience. For smaller companies or departments looking for a low-cost entry-level solution for secure Web-based collaboration, Workshare Point 1.2 will also work with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010. For both services, the upgrades to Workshare Point allow users to manage content within their Microsoft Office applications as if they were working with on-premise services.
