/n software first announced its plans to acquire EldoS Corp. earlier this summer. Now that the transaction has officially completed, the two companies will work together to enhance and develop next-generation software security solutions for developers.
EldoS is known for its SecureBlackbox solution as well as data protection, secure storage and file system virtualization services. According to Eric Madariaga, marketing director for /n software, EldoS and /n software’s strategies are well aligned, and the acquisition will help improve /n software’s low-level data protection, storage and virtualization capabilities.

As part of the acquisition, EldoS will continue to operate as an independent business unit and as a brand extension of /n software. The EldoS team will continue to maintain and improve the company’s data access, protection and security components, according to Madariaga. In addition, EldoS’ former European offices will continue to work as satellite offices for /n software, and provide extended support for European customers.
