Automated indexing capabilities and certification for Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and 2010 are among the new features of Kofax Express 2.5, the latest version of Kofax’s document management solution.
The certification allows users to integrate documents scanned and indexed in Kofax Express to be moved easily into SharePoint for use in those workflows, according to the company.
Other new features, such as zonal optical character recognition and rubber-band OCR, enable software to extract index field data from documents for faster processing, the company said.
