Nintex, the world’s leading SharePoint workflow company, today unveiled Nintex Workflow for Office 365 and Nintex Forms for Office 365, cloud versions of its flagship products for SharePoint 2013. Delivered as subscription services, both products will be available via the SharePoint Store later this quarter.
“Nintex software elevates Office 365 sites from places where work is put, to places where work is done,” said Mike Fitzmaurice, vice president of product technology at Nintex. “Approval routing, employee onboarding, forms processing, expense handling – all of the things customers have been doing for years with Nintex and SharePoint on-premise – are now available in new places and to new customers.”
“These new offerings have been redesigned as native cloud solutions, and they fit into Office 365 using the new SharePoint cloud app model,” Fitzmaurice added. “As has always been true for Nintex products, they work by enhancing – not replacing – customers’ SharePoint investments.”
Nintex Workflow for Office 365, like its on-premise counterpart, enables users, developers and IT professionals to automate processes quickly and easily, without sacrificing power or manageability. Nintex Forms for Office 365 is an easy-yet-powerful way to build and manage forms that are web-aware, SharePoint-aware, workflow-aware and mobile-aware. Both Nintex Workflow and Forms for Office 365 allow solutions to be built in a browser using familiar drag-and-drop techniques.
Nintex unveiled the new products this week at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC), of which Nintex is a Gold Sponsor. “We wanted our partners – who are also Microsoft partners – to be the first to see this,” said Wayne Woolston, president of Nintex. “We expect that they’ll build great new solutions for our common customers, especially the kind of cross-company solutions Office 365 makes easy.”
