Erlang 18.0 released
Version 18.0 of the Erlang/OTP programming language has been released, including new features, improvements and bug fixes.
Released under the Apache 2.0 license, Erlang 18.0 extends time functionality, including a new Time API and “time warp” mode for altering behavior during system time changes. Erlang 18.0 also enables the “eager check I/O” feature by default, and it adds enhanced support for maps.

Red Hat and Samsung partner on mobile
Red Hat and Samsung have announced a strategic alliance to deliver the next generation of mobile solutions for the enterprise. The two companies plan to deliver business applications; tools and resources for developers; support services; and business collaboration.
